We enjoyed meeting the students and teachers of Monroe Elementary during Spring Photo Day.  We picked what we thought was the best of two poses for the photo packages. Both poses – whether an order was placed or not – can be accessed at this link.  The student’s ID number is required to access the photo gallery. That ID number can be found on the top right of the flier which was sent home in the Thursday folder or you can call our studio to get it.

Families can make a new order with their pose and background choice by using a Visa or Mastercard.  Parents that do not want to use a credit card or would like assistance seeing their student’s images online can visit our studio at 2600 De La Vina, Suite D (corner of De La Vina and Constance). Watch for announcements in the fall about Family Portrait Night  -  a great way to help the school and get holiday cards and presents taken care of at the same time.

Seniors, now is the time to order graduation announcements or wallet size portraits so they can be mailed in May.  All of our designs such as the examples below include a photo and can be customized with different colors, patterns and fonts. Text on the back can contain details of the graduation ceremony and/or party plans. Don’t like your senior picture? No problem! Now is a great time to take advantage of our Second Chance for Seniors Special and get a free mini session in the studio with an order deposit. The Santa Barbara beach and Doubletree Hotel provided a beautiful backdrop for the ‘Venetian Masquerade’ prom for San Marcos High School on April 28.  The school reps in attendance were once again at their photogenic best (photo right).

San Marcos High School kept up its tradition of great performing arts with the annual  SMHS Royal Revue on February 23-24. There was something for everyone – dancing, singing, acting, comedy and music. On stage and back stage photos and downloads (starting at $1) can be purchased at the link above.

The very entertaining 2012 edition of Music of the Night at Santa Barbara High School featured production numbers from the latest musicals and showcased some great talent and management skill. This student directed, choreographed and produced Broadway musical revue has evolved impressively over the last 12 years.

The 4 directors – Clayton Barry, Savanna Jordan, McKenna Mender and Claire Patterson – were selected by the previous year’s directors. Sponsors included The Walking Company and Hub International Insurance Services. Click on the link above to see more on stage and backstage photos.

Members of this year’s King of Hearts Court were (left to right) Alberto Hernandez, Jose Coria (who was crowned King later in the evening of February 9), foreign exchange student Julio Melley, Nicholas Marks and Bradford Jellison. The sixth prince, Maxwell St. John was out of town visiting a potential college but he did show up to celebrate with fellow princes at the SBHS Winter Formal two nights later. More formal pics as well as images from the SBHS v Ventura Basketball Game and crowning ceremony on February 9 can be found in the King of Hearts Court Gallery.
